Brittany is an enthusiastic “people person” who loves doing hair. She was born in Hickory, North Carolina, but has lived in Columbia since attending Middle School here. Because her mother owned a hair salon Brittany knew early on that she wanted to become a stylist. She loved fashion, hair styling trends, and the various clients she met. After High School Brittany attended Wella Professional School in Columbia and graduated with a certificate in Cosmetology in 2007. She then worked as a stylist for several years at Columbiana Mall and at another location downtown. She is certified in keratin treatments and has training in Aveda color products and techniques.
Brittany joined the Five Points Hair Salon in 2014. She believes it is important to fully listen to her clients so that she can provide what they truly want and also consider what will work for their hair and lifestyle. She further believes that it is important to never stop learning about hair trends, product developments, and techniques. When not working at the salon Brittany is somewhat of a homebody. She spends time with her family, in the pool during warm weather, and lavishes attention on her two dogs and three cats. She is also very passionate about painting with acrylics, whether abstract or realistic, as gifts for family and friends.
